Skyrim' Creation Kit and Skyrim Workshop video

Skyrim's Creation Kit and Skyrim Workshop have been given a preview video.

Available for PC users, the Creation Kit features the same set of tools that Bethesda used to create the role-playing game, allowing users to make their own mods and content.

Bethesda has said that the modification kit for PC users is almost complete, and it is currently working with Steam and the modding community for last minute testing.

"We think Skyrim modding is one of the game's best features, and we have the best modders of any game. It's been a lot of exciting work for us, and we can't wait to unleash it," said the firm.

Meanwhile, update 1.4 is currently being prepared for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions.

MW3 is expected to receive a new gameplay update in time for the weekend.

Speaking on Twitter, Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling asked followers if they were ready for new game modes, before promising to unveil details within the next 24 hours.

"Ready for new game modes for MW3 ? I've got some surprises for you for the weekend. I'll confirm full details tomorrow! #MW3" reads the Twitter statement

Battlefield 3' PC patch coming December 6

Battlefield 3 on PC will receive a patch next week, according to developer DICE.The update, which includes bug fixes and balancing, will be available to download on December 6.DICE also announced that the patch will introduce colour blind mode and some of the content from the 'Back to Karkand' DLC expansion, which is released in full on December 13. Last month, DICE rolled out a BF3 update to "improve polish, stability, weapons balancing, squad control functionality, user interface enhancements and several feature enhancements that address feedback the community has provided to date. BF3 was released for Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3 in October. The game sold almost 2 million copies in its first month in the US alone.

Counter-Strike GO Beta Starting Soon

According to the official Counter-Strike: Global OffensiveTwitter account, a closed beta test for the next iteration of Valve's ever-popular online shooter will begin on November 30, 2011. Though Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions of Counter-Strike GO are in development, the beta test will be PC only.

Battlefield 3' to receive "significant" update on PC

Battlefield 3 will receive a "significant" update on the PC later this week, Dice has confirmed.

The imminent update will see "improved polish, stability, weapons balancing, squad control functionality, user interface enhancements, and several feature enhancements that address feedback the community has provided to date".

DICE will also remove the "negative mouse acceleration" that some users have experienced, and is likely to tone down tactical lighting.

The update will be made available to console users shortly after the PC patch goes live and once certification requirements have been met.
