Modern Warfare 3' release date revealed?

The release date for Modern Warfare 3 has been outed, according to a report.

Several sources have told Eurogamer that the unconfirmed title will be available on Tuesday, November 8 worldwide.

An internal database at supermarket chain Tesco has also referred to the title as Call of Duty: Project Collossus.

Previous Call of Duty titles have been dated for early November, such as Modern Warfare 2 on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 and Black Ops on Tuesday, November 9, 2010.

The game might be revealed later today as part of Activision Blizzard's quarterly financial announcement scheduled for 9.30pm GMT.

Last week, it was hinted that Modern Warfare 3 would be revealed in a UK magazine next month.

It has been previously rumoured that Modern Warfare 3 will be a prequel co-developed by Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software.

Battlefield 4' first five images, trailer released

 Battlefield 4 has been showcased by EA, revealing the first footage and images.

The shooter sequel, which will be powered by the next-generation Frostbite 3 engine, was unveiled at the Games Developer Conference in San Francisco and a community event in Stockholm.

The single player campaign will offer more open, sandbox gameplay moments following feedback from Battlefield 3's campaign.

It also aims to deliver a more emotionally impactful story, closely following your fellow soldiers against the backdrop of an impending world war.

The campaign is teased to also offer elements of social persistence, while multiplayer introduces new water vehicles and will add innovations to the franchise.

Similar to Battlefield 3, it has also been confirmed that a Premium subscription service is in the works.
